Our company was founded by three computer engineers, having a solid academic foundation, and extensive previous consulting experience with major european companies.
Dr. Radu Marinescu is an associate professor and researcher focused on the areas of object-oriented software evolution, quality assurance and software maintenance.
In 2002 he received a joint PhD from the Politehnica University of Timisoara and the University of Karlsruhe with a thesis on metrics-based quality assessment. His research results on metrics and quality assessment have been adopted by leading IDEs like JBuilder.
He is co-author of the book Object-Oriented Metrics in Practice (Springer), and the recipient of an IBM Eclipse Innovation Award. For the past ten years, Dr. Marinescu has been constantly working as a consultant and trainer for several well-known IT companies including Siemens, IBM, Alcatel-Lucent, Telelogic and Oce.
Dr. Adrian Trifu is a researcher in the area of object oriented software quality assurance and evolution. Between 2001 and 2007, he has worked as a researcher and consultant in the software engineering group of the FZI Research Center for Information Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany. During this time, he has led or participated in several national and international research and industry oriented projects, in cooperation with partners such as Nokia, Philips, F-Secure, DaimlerChrysler, Kuka, Cenit and ABB. In 2008, he earned his PhD from the University of Karlsruhe, with a thesis on automated diagnosis of design flaws in object oriented systems.
Mircea Trifu works as a researcher and consultant in the areas of software architecture design and software quality assurance, at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany. He is currently leading the European research project Q-ImPrESS, with partners from five European countries, with the purpose of investigating the impact of architectural changes on the quality attributes of evolving service-oriented software. Furthermore, he has been involved in several other federal and EU-funded research projects, such as QBench and SLA@SOI. He is the chief architect and lead developer of the SISSy open-source tool chain for automatic detection of quality problems in object-oriented software, and has been working as aconsultant for clients such as ABB Corporate Research, BASF IT Services, F-Secure, CAS, PTV and Keymile.
